Capella” D17 1925 Steam loco
This regular steam train journey leaves from Ravenshoe Station, hauling its historic Queensland carriages on a rocking rolling riding path through open bushland and across wooden trestle bridges to the little siding of Tumoulin, at 964 metres, (3165ft), the highest Railway Station in Queensland.
Ravenshoe is famous for its timber industry, and during WWII was an important training camp for many soldiers before embarking for the Pacific war.
