A Little About Us
The Ravenshoe Steam Railway and Caravan Park is run by the Ravenshoe Railway Company Limited (RRCL) which is a public company limited by guarantee, a not-for-profit organization and a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission (ACNC).

RRCL operates to sustain and benefit our local economy through tourism and all profits made go back into the upkeep of the steam train ,caravan park and markets
Ravenshoe Railway Company Limited is governed by a Board of Directors with an appointed Secretary and Treasurer in accordance with the rules of its Constitution and in compliance with the Corporations Act 2001 and the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Act 2012.
It also operates in strict compliance with the Rail Safety National Law (Queensland) Act 2017, and the Tablelands Regional Council’s Local Laws for the Operation of Caravan Parks and is operated entirely by a varying number of volunteer workers at any one time.
RRCL also operates the markets at Tumoulin Market grounds approx 7 kms out of Ravenshoe every fourth Sunday of the month (except Decembers), from 7am to midday.
